Our California couple’s wedding at 42 West was a dream to design. They wanted a modern, joyful celebration, and the bride’s idea to color‑block the florals for the chuppah was pure genius. We translated her vision into bold, saturated panels—blue, dusty rose, and creamy ivory—arranged with crisp transitions that read beautifully on camera and in person. The chuppah became the ceremony’s striking centerpiece: architectural in its silhouette, soft in its textures, and graphic in its color story.

Attention to detail guided every choice. Each cluster of blooms was placed to create clean lines and unexpected juxtapositions, while foliage framed rather than competed with the color blocks. Table designs echoed the chuppah with layered runners, monochrome arrangements, and mixed-height candles that carried the palette through the reception. Our collaboration with the couple was fluid and joyful; they trusted the process, offered thoughtful feedback, and welcomed playful experimentation.

The result was a cohesive, modern floral narrative that felt personal and fresh. Guests responded to the energy and clarity of the design, photographers loved the vibrant compositions, and the couple beamed throughout the day. Designing this wedding for such a sweet, creative pair remains one of our favorite projects to remember always.
